    I have several letters written by S/Sgt.John J. DOwney III, tail gunner. Letters were to a girlfriend spanning in time from Aug. to Oct. 1944. Would you happen to know whether the tail gunner, John (Jack) Downey in the picture
    above is on the back row in the middle, the shorter one of the group?

    Joe..I apologize..I didn't see this at first. Louis Celentano was in my great uncles crew and I may have a pic of him walking across the wing on a b24 that was on the ground...at Shipdham UK
